We first performed a systematic literature review concerning the cognitive impact evaluation of multimodal interfaces for people who are blind. As part of research developed at the University of Chile since 1996, we investigated the interfaces for people who are blind regarding a gap in cognitive impact. Although there are many technologies to assist people who are blind, most of them do not necessarily guarantee the effectiveness of the intended use. Visual disability has a major impact on people’s quality of life. In addition, blind players enjoyed the game and found it easy to play. The obtained results are very promising detecting a great improvement on CPR knowledge. After and before playing the game participants answered different questionnaires related to CPR knowledge, playability and enjoyability. To test the game, 16 participants from which 8 are blind have been considered. The player acts as a helper who has to save the victim by using tactile interaction to solve the challenges assigned to each mini‐game. The game is composed of different mini‐games inspired by the CPR steps proposed by European Resuscitation Council. In this paper, we propose CPRforBlind, a video game designed to introduce the main steps of the CPR protocol to visually impaired people. Most of them are based on sophisticated graphics and interaction techniques that make them inaccessible to visually impaired people. To learn CPR different handheld device applications have been proposed. ![]() for one of the major computer speaker corporations.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a first aid survival technique used to recover victims of cardiac arrest. for a major college and the other formerly was working I.T. Please I have to reiterate that these are my thoughts and those that all unrelated to one another coming to the same conclusion. Best example is if somebody went to put a Flash Drive into a USB and did not put it all the way in there is no way the computer would recognize either the contents on the Flash Drive or the Flash Drive itself. If it doesn't you would still be able to play a CD/DVD because that part ) of the Optical is working.Īnother reason why I and these people disagree with you (Please understand this is only my opinion, if you feel differently I am not trying to convince you to believe any of us) if you had an issue where it was not the laser but something in terms of a setting in the software or hardware it would not recognize the Optical Drive to begin with. The way it was explained is that when you record think of an extra layer of operation that needs to function. Once they replaced the Optical Drive either with an internal or external all recording software worked perfectly. people and those that have experienced the same situation and when they tested a faulty Optical Drive they had the same reading (Device not detected). I have to disagree with you 1,000,000,000 percent about the defective laser because I have asked several people that have had this issue as well as hearing information from I.T. There is no issue as the Device Manager clearly shows the Drive and the name it gave it. ![]()
